Grand River Tug, at 11-years-old, is still all in.
ABOUT
I grew up running around the forest of Pennsylvania and starting doing wildlife biology as a profession in 1983. I am currently a professor of wildlife biology at at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I worked all around the continent (e.g., Canadian prairies and Arctic, coastal South Carolina, and Mexico) and I fell in love with the north during my first project in Alaska the early 90's. We moved to Alaska permanently in 2001 and have been raising our family here since then.
Running and dogs have been part of my life since 1975, thus the business name. I don't run competitively as much, but I still run dogs a bunch.
I'm returning to photography after a long hiatus when my old Pentax K1000 was lost in flood in 1993. Photography has changed radically since then and my dogs and kids make great subjects for getting back into it. Let me know how I can help you.
My son Zane trains Boomer(L), Grand River Pingo (C) and Grand River Tug.
